The Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) is a non-profit organisation which was established on December 1st 2005 in Sofia.

Members of Association are corporations and natural persons (experts), who are involved in the water supply and sewerage field, including the quality and treatment of drinking-, industrial-, agricultural- and waste water as well as the management, preservation and utilisation of water resources.

The corporations are collective members. These are regional and local companies dealing with water supply and sewerage as well as engineering, construction/assembly-, manufacturing-, export-, import- and other companies, scientific and educational institutes.

BWA is a non-governmental organisation, comprising a number of companies as well as scientific, managerial and technical staff working in the water sector; therefore, it can be fairly reasonably called "the Bulgarian Water Voice".
